I have uploaded it to my server as it has been bought via cute ftp. However when i try to open it in dreamweaver all i get is a bunch of hyper link symbols. what am i doing wrong?

Hi Julie, I'm somewhat in the same boat, my hosting company uploaded it to my website and integrated it for me, it says anyone can set it up no experience necessary, yea right, first you need to go through everything on your blue panel, then the fun really starts, my shop is not live yet, i am at a loss how to put my logo on the payment sheet, have no idea how to get rid of manufacturers panel on Customer page, nor remove word manufacturer from every item i've listed, also how do you create sub categories, how do you change shipping to kgs it won't let me!! I'm trying to get hold of an IT programmer i know that does OScommerce and yes REviews i don't want them can't find anywhere to delete it.

Hi Guys,

If you need help I would be glad to dial in and set everything up for you. I would also be willing to do phone support to to walk you though everything once its all set up so you can add/remove/edit products as you see fit.

Flat Rate of $200

I have some templates to that we can incorporate to make it more professional as well.

here are some examples of sites that I have worked on

HighTechHut.com

BluePoint2go.com

Since oscommerce is written in PHP, using dreamweaver will only show you the code. Its not straight HTML like it apears. Some of the files you can find what you need, but with Oscommerce, there are to many includes for dreamweaver to handle since most of it is server side.

the Simple Template System was created so you can create a template in dreamweaver and integrate it with Oscommerce fairly easily. You still need knowledge of php and html to find your way though things.

Simple...kinda...maybe....sorta...but not if your not a programmer. Sorry guys.
