Jet200 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I'd like for the thumbnail size to be for browse/search/cart/etc. On the product info pages I would like the image size to be somthing bigger - not the full sized image but no the thunbnail image either. Thanks
Guest Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 The user can click on to enlarge.Purpose of small icons is to have a page load fast. With bigger images the page will load much longer and that my deter some people. If you want to change the image setting -go to admin, setting, max value
Nullachtfuffzehn Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 With the default settings of OSC the images are loaded in their full size, no matter what the thumbnail size is. So the loading time of the page won't be any different. The image sizes are set at admin->configuration->images. To increase the loading time you got to install a thumbnail contrib. Btw. the best is to set only height or width, not both. Leave one of them emtpy (do not set to 0!). So the display won't be messed up and the images will show up at least kind of properly.
Jet200 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 Thanks so much for the replies. I have a control for the small image h/w i the admin panel but that is all. The others are header, category, etc. Nothing that controls or defines the image on the product info page as different. I have my small img set to 95 - ideally I would like some way of making the image on the product info page (and only that page) as something larger.
