photo gallery

I did install this contribution named J-Album Photogallery.

 

I did follow the four steps with no problem. The index.html is located in catalog/gallery/index.html and the images is located at catalog/gallery/slides/

Now the section that a little confusing was this part of the instructions:

 

5. In my sever I found the the file index.html of the programs gallery and copied the link or location or where it is.

6. Found the file catalog/includes/languages/english/my file to add a gallery file/ and added this code

Now when I look at my homepage, the link for gallery is in the left column in the info box.

But when I click this link it takes me to this page. You only see blank boxes where the images should be. And then click one image, it doesn't matter, takes me to large large image. The look is not correct. But if you click the index page link, it will take you to the way it should look like.

 

I have been working on this for two days now and still can not find the solution. I can get to index.html by entering the address in the URL bar, but not from the gallery link in the info box.
