All things being equal, they should be in your \images directory.

I gather from your post that you have been advised about config.php files, permissions, and loading product images via admin.

Apart from that, I gather you have also been advised that you use a proper ftp program to upload and download your files.

So, that is it.

I suggest that you right click on the red cross which will show you the properties of the image. This will show you where the OSC thinks the image is located and what it is called, when you have that information you can check the iamges directory to make sure that the image exists.

I am having the same problem since Thursday around 5 pm with all 70 oscommerce sites I host. All image links are not including the domain for some reason when viewed with IE. When viewed with Firefox the site looks fine. Here is what the very same image link looks like with IE and firefox:

http:///images/header_account.gif

http://ebookliquidator.com/images/header_account.gif

What is causing IE to miss the domain in the link?
