D-Angle
Hello all, New here, have been a fan of OSC for a while but haven't had a project to try it with up to now. I want to build a t-shirt store selling t-shirts from www.spreadshirt.com. They offer their own facility for building your store, but I would rather use osCommerce for the store itself and use Spreadshirt for the back end to fulfill orders. Has anyone else done this, or have any tips for the best way of going about this? Thanks in advance.
sonictrip.net
Hi, Spreadshirt has its own standalone shopping cart and products which appear in an iframe inside a normal webpage on any website. You don't need to use a system like oscommerce as your using Spreadshirt for everything including the product listing and checkout. The Spreadshirt checkout process will be separate to the oscommerce checkout so if you're selling spreadshirt products on your site and other products using the oscommerce checkout, then the customer will have to checkout 2 different ways to buy products off both systems. Better off using Spreadshirt affiliate stuff on its own... What i'd like to know is how we can use oscommerce like Spreadshirt are doing it with their affiliate sales shop that anyone can setup, is there a mod to let people setup an affiliate version of my oscommerce store which will display selected products from my oscommerce catalog in an iframe on someone elses website with their affiliate links intact? The same way Spreadshirt are doing it...
