Editing Sub-Category Products

Hi all,

Had no luck on a search so thought someone may be able to help.

Using 2.2CVS 22/11/2002

 

Maybe I've done something stupid but . . .

I Created Product Categories

I then created Categories that I wanted as Sub-Categories

I then created my Sub-Category Products and "moved" then via Admin into the Sub-Category folder ( via the drop down menu)

Still in Admin I "moved" the whole Sub-Category into the the top level category.

All works brilliantly in the store BUT, via Admin I cannot get at the products to amend/alter them. All I can see is the Top Level Categories and no product listings to edit.

Have I approached this the wrong way and if so have I exposed a flaw in the coding that allows this action to be taken albeit you can never retrieve the product page through Admin?

Any advice or observation would be welcome ( Duhhhh included)
