contribution to support tracking 'partners' or 'referrals' through to order

I am looking for a contribution that would allow me to track referrers and all sales that have been made from this referrer.

I am sure there will be one out there but have done some searches and cannot find one.

 

so the scenario is this, i have a sales rep who is out promoting my store and they have a code, when they refer people to my store i want to be able to pay them a commission for the sale, so I have to be able to identify that this person's sale is a result of that referral.

 

I have thought that i could track back in my web stats the referrer URL and look for a get argument, and that i could include a box in the order confirmation page for the referrer code or name (but people often forget to do things like that).

 

Anyway I am sure someone else is doing this with OS Commerce, if you could point me to any relevant contributions would be great.

hi could your modification could be use to track only the admins of the website for instance?

 

in ms3 there i a log for all operations done in admin

but in ms2 we could use your mod to achieve this :blush:

I ended up using Supertracker and added a tracking on the get variable rep=

 

so if a person using the following URL to arrive at the store

 

www.mydomain.com/mystore/?rep=me

 

Then I can track this with Supertracker. I updated the Supertracker referrer reports to also report by 'rep'
