SSL issue

Recommended Posts

I've set up SSL about as much as I can, and now as a customer browsing my site, I cannot checkout because when pressing the "continue" button on my shopping_cart.php page it sends me to https://www.mydomain.comcheckout_shipping.php/?osCsid=cbb1cbf4393090d07f08733bbdf6ce2b

Notice that after the .com there is no '/' and after .php there is a '/' where there should not be one.

How can I fix this?

Thanks,

Mark

you need to edit the configure.php file which is located in /catalogue/includes directory

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

I have edited it to my best known knowledge. Here's what it says now:

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.mydomain.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.mydomain.com'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.mydomain.com');

Where did I go wrong?

Okay, I don't know how I figured this out on my own, but purley by luck, this is what I did. In includes/configure.php, I changed the line:

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', ' ');

to:

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

This fixed the aforementioned problem, just in case any of you have the same issue.
