emanresu Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 I'm talking to Multicards (www.multicards.com) about an OSC payment module for their system. Is anyone working on something similar or interested in this gateway :?: Citizen of US Minor Outlying Islands
raym Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 Hi, I use Multicards and have just emailed them about integrating with OSC. (Multicards came up with a template for me for Cartit after being asked, so they do listen). Then I came across your post and were wondering how far you've got, or if you have a module. Please let me know as I have had no problem with Multicards, and don't really want to go with PayPal (to long a process for shopper). Hope to hear from you soon, Best Regards, Ray
pbreit Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 PayPal (to long a process for shopper) Don't forget that for 20+ million users, PayPal is actually *much* faster than other payment processors. Patrick Breitenbach
Archon Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 I wouldn't mind using Multicards if a payment module became available. I know their fees are steep, but I haven't made one sale by using an alternative 3rd party processor. My current cart allows for the customers to fill in the their basic details (name, address, email, etc) before taken to the 3rd party processorl. As soon as they get there, they change their minds. It seems that they are happy to purchase from my site, (lots of stats showing they are about to purchase) but not happy with the long winded process of registering, blah, blah with the 3rd party processor. If it means that with multicards the payment process is easier, thus possibly making more sales, then I don't mind losing a little of the "profits". Some sales are better than no sales :) Hopefully by the time i've finetuned my oscommerce cart, there might be a multicard payment module and I can scrap my old cart, etc, etc. Anyway, if anyone is working on it, or has any multicard comments/views, I'd love to hear them.
