After installing I try going to my storefront to see what it looks like raw and get this...or when I try the admin side.

Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory.

Where did you get the file from? The message refers to the server php.ini file.

There is a patch in the contrib section that may help you.

I had to add the php.ini file in the main folder and thenthe register_globals = ON to that php.ini , so I could see the storefront. Now when I try to get in the admin side it give me the same error... Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory. When I add the php.ini to the admin folder it does not like it at all. What to do??

I did search the site and found ). If you know a fix please direct me.

Thanks

I have been having the same problem with both my catalog folder and admin folder. Can you please tell me which folder you put the php.ini file in? Do you mean by main folder the catolog folder? And if you have finally got this figured out, can you help me with what you did to fix it?
