Guest Posted October 18, 2007 Share Posted October 18, 2007 Hi there. My website is only new and not very big at the moment but I'm having some serious bandwith issues. I don't think I have very much traffic as yet but am hoping to increase it come next month when my advertising starts... My website came with 1g of Bandwith and within 10 days of this month I was already at 90% so my webhost increased it to 1.5g and turned off "spider session" (whatever that is!) to see if that would help. 3 days later we are back at 90% so it was increased yesterday to 2g... I've just received an email informing me we are back up to 80% of the Bandwith. My webhost and myself are at a complete loss and I have no idea what to do or why this is happening. Is there some reason why my bandwith would be being eaten up so drastically so quickly? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. My host wont increase it any further for this month and I really can't afford for my site to be down for 2 weeks- and then to have it possibly happen again next month as well right when I've just paid so much money for advertising.
