Still now I am trying to install osCommerce with waiting super help.

I installed osCommerce by using vDeck of ipowerweb.

Then there is directries (folders)

public_html/osCommerce/catalog <-- directry

public_html/osCommerce/extras <-- directry

public_html/osCommerce/mysql_catalog.sql <-- file

public_html/osCommerce/mysql_catalog.sql <-- file

Then

http://mydomain/osCommerce/catalog looks like home page of the shop.

I can manage this page from http://mydomain/osCommerce/catalog/admin

It is OK to manage files or site or page at http://mydomain/osCommerce/catalog/admin

but

it is not OK the home page of the store is URL:http://mydomain/osCommerce/catalog

I want to set my home page URL :http://mydomain

I tried this.

I moved the all filse in catalog folder to public_html/

The pages does not work well.

I sent question mail to ipowerweb support again & again & again.

There is no answer.

Please help me.

If you have copied files from catalog to public_html . .. now you need to modify configure.php in includes and admin\includes to make it work.

Cheers

GS

Maybe post your config.php files but leave out the database information.

you should just use redirect. The server is looking for index.html.In vdec settings you have a option to redirect.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Now I find Redircts at the first time.

In this view

new /index.html => http://

I guess I should write down here something , some url.

http://mydomain.com

or

http://mydomain.com/osCommerce/catalog

I don't konow?

but anyway I am trying now. Thank you
