Alex P Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 I have never seen one since I always have it set up for me. Is it a file? How does basically the whole philosophy work? Sorry for the questions but I think this is an interesting topic for many of us. Thanks

It is basically just a text file that contains encrypted key data. You have one for the server and one for the domain. Your webserver loads those keys whenever it starts. Idea is the server/browser connection gets encrypted, all data is 'garbage' so noone can read it (which is bull as anything gets cracked and so did SSL long time ago) HTH Mattice "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
Alex P Posted November 25, 2002 Author Posted November 25, 2002 Hi Mattice. Thanks You mean that everytime someone requests a secured domain, the key passes throught the line to the browser? Thank you.
