privacy policy changes not showing up

I replaced the text in the privacy.php and uploaded it but it still says the same thing it did before ( I emptied my cache first )

Need a bit more information folks, like what is the initial problem, what are you trying to acheive, what actions have you taken etc etc. which will make it a lot easier and more enticing for someone to answer you. :rolleyes:

I will assume for now, you are trying to alter the text shown when someone clicks on the "Privacy Notice" link in the "Information" bar inside your shop as viewed by your customer?

If that is so, you need to simply edit (wordpad is fine) catalog/includes/languages/english/privacy.php then alter the wording in

define('TEXT_INFORMATION', '----PUT YOUR MESSAGE HERE----');

Then upload back to your server.

Hope this helps

rolling your eyes? are you kidding? you really needed more information to understand the posters problem? wow.. it seemed pretty clear to me, obviously their "initial problem" would be that they have changed their privacy policy and the changes are not showing up (as indicated by the thread title)..
