Sort Order In Product Listing

Hello,

 

I have come across a few OSC sites with a unique sorting method in product listing and was wondering if there is a contribution. What I have seen in drop down boxes is,

 

Sort By: Brand, Part Number, and Pricing

 

Narrow Search: Manufacturer

 

And then a drop down which shows all categories.

 

Is there a contribution?
