Victor Wise
Not only is the software a gimmick; but it is outdated and 'advertises' SEO 'best practices' that Google will penalize you for. I only read half of the features; but the fact that they promote creating 'doorway' pages sort of shocked me, since Google specifically prohibits that (it was common place though 6 years ago). Also, reciprocal linking is no longer recommended. ...Honestly, this software will do more harm than good. You should be aware that the technical aspects of SEO: metatags, headers, keyword density, 301 redirects, and the rest of that scarry stuff isn't so important anymore. It is a best practice this day and age to design sites for people, not browsers. There is one tool though, included with the mentioned software, that is absolutely crucial to any online business. Keyword research tools are a must! Fortunately though, they are free. There should be a link to a couple good ones, along with a primer on search marketing, on this thread here. web-project
It is a best practice this day and age to design sites for people, not browsers. but if the people using different browsers, you have the problem as your website/osc will be displayed incorrectly. Simply don't listen & ignore sort of comments. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Don't know how that happened :-" Not making cross-compatible sites is definitely a faux pas. Best Regards, Victor Wise
