is it possible to have images in just one category of the product listing?

I have thumbnails disabled but now I have a tshirt category that I want o have thumbnails but nor on the rest of the shop.

How can I solve this?

I am not sure that I understand your question right.

You only want to show thumbnails for the t-shirt Categorie when you show you categeries to the user I guess.

May be is is not style from heaven but you can enable thumbs again and load a blind picture for the other Categories.

Imagine I have pictures on all products but they are shown only when someone clicks on the product to see it.

Of course that the images are shown on the first page or in the new product link. But not in the categories, I disabled the thumbnails on oscommerce.

 

Now I want that one particular category and subcategories show thumbnails on the left of the product names. Like the original version of oscommerce!

 

Is this possible? Or there is any contribution for that?

In catalog/index.php about line 88 is the part where the categories where read and displayed. You might change the query in that way, that only the t-shirt category is listed in the main part. I mean in the other way, there where all the category pictures shown. But then you can only select the t-shirts from this view.
