Win2k Server --> Linux (Colbalt RaQ4)

So I have been working on my store for several weeks now. And my boss would like to have the store transfered onto a RaQ4 with Redhat(latest). I've been developing the store on Win2k server, so I'm a bit scared to move it all onto a linux server; feeling that I'll loose all the functionality I had on my win2k box. I'm not really a *nix guy, but would like to learn.

What all would I need to do? I know I'll need to change the configure.php files in the admin & catalog includes dir's.

What else would I need to do, and or would this be good to put in on a REALLY souped up RaQ4?

Anything I need to know before I do this?

Thank you!

Windows is like a 1984 Ford Tempo with the hood welded shut. Linux is like a Formula race car with a complete set of tools, manuals, and thousands of mechanics eager to help you out.

I don't know what you would need to do to prepare since I don't know anything about win2k, but if you have any specific Linux questions I'll try to help.

Awesome!!!

I'll proly be asking questions. ..

I'm tad scared to set up MySQL on it, since I have only done it wih win2k. .. ..

I'll prolly just set up a new user/pass etc and then change the config files. . . . phpMyAdmin runs on *nic correct?

Thank you!
