At the risk of being Number 1002.......

No. 1 I use Dreamweaver. How do most of you using an editor get the catalog page into DW? I can copy the code via "Copy and Paste" but I cannot use it other than to look at the code. I appreciate the explanation of all the things you can do to change/edit the main page but they make little sense to a novice.

No. 2 I will have photos on the page that I want downloadable. Instructions say the files must be placed in /catalog/download directory. Where in sam hill is the catalog download directory? Do I need to have a directory on my website named as such? This is totally exasperating and quite honestly I have used this program for other sites and dumped it.

I would really like some help on this without the encyclopedic directions, no offense to anyone that has this expertise.

Catalog is just refering to your site, when using your FTP program to upload, your files appear, click on the yellow folder "catalog" (yours may be called something else like, shop, www, home, or store) that will open all the files in your site, click on the yellow folder called "download" that will open and that is where you can upload your files.
