Guest
I really could do with some help here, this is all new to me and I am in the process of setting up a shop, I have sorted most of it. I use PayPal and have been using the sandbox to test the shop. If I place an order, everything works as it should until you reach the final part of the check out. It then shows the shop name under ITEM instead of the ITEM code, can anybody tell me how to correct this as if somebody made an order I would not have a clue what it was. Also if you mak a multi order it only shows as one ITEM and is called the shop name. Please help Regards Keith
Nullachtfuffzehn
Can't you see what the items ordered are in your admin section? And by the way, the default paypal module is not recommended to use. You may instead try to use the paypal IPN from the contrib section instead. Hello, Many thanks for your reply yes I can see the items I have in the store both in the catalogue and in the admin what I can't see is what the person has actually ordered, for instance the codes are W-1 W-2 W-3 all that then shows on the receipt is the total amount those items cost and under items it only has the store name. I don't receive any sell confirmation so have not a clue what the person has bought?? I am not a computer whizz kidd, in fact I was a lorry driver for 30 years, so as I said this is all knew to me. as for the IPN, I have looked at it but do not understand it. So have to result to just the basic PayPal checkout. I don't even understand what you mean by the contrib section, I assume you mean contribution section but contributio section of what and where.
