e-mail address

e-mail address

and so forth!

Access the database via phpMyAdmin, go through the 'configuration' table and delete all extra entries, or ...

If this is a new site with no major changes made, drop the whole database via phpMyAdmin and import the default osCommerce database into it. This will get rid of the duplicate entries and you'll have a clean slate to start with.

What you may have done is to copy the includes/configure.php into the admin/includes/configure.php . Doing this certainly doubles up on things, so check it out! If you replace it with the correct file from your backup copy, hopefully it will then work.

PS You do have a backup of the files, dont you?!

I am making my first attempt to add products since my designer has turned the site over to me. Under "Categories" in my Admin, I only have 1, named the same name as my site, OhCheri. When you look at my homepage, you will see lots of listings under the word "Categories". So I have regular sizes and plus sizes separate. I added the regular size, refreshed my site and it looked great, woohoo! Then I went to add the plus size, and I clicked on Copy...it asked my where to copy to and I said Plus Sizes (it was in a drop-down). Suddenly I have two categories on my homepage called Plus Chemises. I've tried retracing my steps but I can't figure out where to delete it. I found this thread where it says to go to myphpadmin, but I can't make heads nor tails of that! Since I made the error while in OSCommerce, admin, shouldn't I be able to fix it from here?
