antero Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 I've installed osCommerce 2.2 on a working server. I imported about 6500 products from a csv file, and the products all appear as they should, but performance is very slow now. CPU usage hits 50%+ for every page loaded, including the front page. I imported the 4 product tables: products, products_description, categories, categories_description. Since importing the site has slowed and cpu usage has increased to the point where it's not usable. Other sites running mysql on the same server are running fine. Thanks, I tried that and it did improve the speed a bit, but the cpu is still dropping from 98% idle to 50% idle whenever I load a page on this site.
