leachim
I have recorded some music that I would like to offer/sell as ringtones on my web site. Are there any templates for web pages that could get me going - listen and buy buttons etc. I notice that some companies offer a service to send the tone straight to your phone - is this possible Alterntively, I could offer the chance to listen, but prevent the option to download until they pay - how would this work ? Thanks Mike
rabbitseffort
you will at least want a couple contributions added on to your site: Download only / MP3 shop cart and display modifications and Mp3_preview_with_Flash_player_v1.0 everything else you want to happen can, but depending on your skill level you may have to seek outside help HTH "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. rabbitseffort
basically yes, you will read every read me file in the contributions and if you have not modified your shop then it is ok to overwrite your files, but only one time since after that you have a modified shop so the second and any other contributions you add you will have to go thru file by file and make the changes as described in the install directions of each contribution then upload them all to your server also run any sql queries instructed to on your databse, phpmyadmin is the easy way and it is in your cPanel as well somewhere near your database section (hosts cPanel, not osc) always have a safe copy of your database( you can use the backup database function in osc admin) and always make a safe copy of your files before overwriting them or editing them, this way you can revert to what you had in 5 minutes or less if something goes wrong I suggest highly that you do not use the file manager in osc to editi your files use something like dreamweaver or in your cPanel should be a safe file manager to use HTH "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer.
