Trentide
Hi. Thanks for looking at my post! Any and all advice is appreciated! I would like to create a link on one of my products page that when the visitor clicks on it, the linked page appears still on the original products page. In other words, this would be the opposite of when a visitor clicks on a link and a new browser window appears and the visitor is no longer on the site. Could this be done? I've messed around with target_blank, target_parent, target_self, etc. But none of these seem to work. Thanks so much. I look forward to your responses. rabbitseffort
do you need to popup the info in a popup window, that is easy JS or do you need a named anchor on the same page? easy too be a little more specific, though I think you are wanting a JS popup for the new page, so search google for JS popup and you should be good to go "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer. --Ken Kesey"
Trentide
Thanks Rabbit. No, I dont think I need a pop up or a named anchor. What I would like to do is create a link to another site on one of my products page, and when the visitor clicks on the link, I want the site to show up underneath my header (inside my site), where the products page was before the visitor clicked on the link. Does that make sense? Thanks so much for any help you may have! rabbitseffort
well, then you could do this with an iframe and javascript, a little involved but doable HTH "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer.
