Currency Problem

Hello, am new to this game, so I hope you can help.

 

Just done first install, all OK. Been configuring and have added £ as the default currency.

 

However, on my front page, the price is being displayed in $, despite having specified £ as my default. It changes when I change the currency type in the right hand column, but that is not really helping me.

 

My shop is an English site, so I want it to display in pounds by default.

 

I have tried deleting the $ in the currency section of the admin panel, but it then displays the price on the front page as 0 with no currency symbol at all.

 

Any ideas?

you also have to set currency manually in this file..

 

includes/languages/english.php
