Guest
Hi Everyone! I am very new here (maybe member for 5mins!), so i apologise for any errors in listing this in the wrong section or if i dont explain things properly... I have had my website (online store) running for a while now. Check in on it Monday, all fine. Checked it last night, and its not...! All my work has gone, and it has diverted back to all the stuff i did to it back in April 07 by the looks of it (so everything current or after April is not there). I am not very website-savy, so trying to find out the problem here or even where my work has gone, is very frustrating. I have sent an email to my domain group, but i dont think it has anything to do with them, so thought i might post something here in the hopes someone can help..... I dont know if i should delete everything off my website now (as i dont have hardly any of the stock anyways that is displayed, and saves someone coming along and selecting that item to purchase), or if i should leave it as it might be an easy fix. :'( I'm sure a lot of you guys out there can understand all my frustration as its 6 months of work down the drain (well, i'm hoping its not!). Any help would be fabulous! Thanks again! Bec

Guest
I have narrowed the problem down to the server domain. Their server must have went down (or something), and they said they restored my website, but restored it back to April.... still fighting with them about this!!!! UOGAddict
It's a good habit to make your own backups often. When I'm working on a site I will make 4-5 backups a day. Once the site is up and running I usually just do one once a week or whenever I install something or make a major change.
Guest
Yes, well, i have learnt now! Does anyone know what this means: "1017 - Can't find file: 'sessions.MYI' (errno: 2) select value from sessions where sesskey = 'b6c6825f160b242336bd85f4653d11b1' and expiry > '1192159797' [TEP STOP]" This is what is showing on my website now, nothing else!! Here's my weblink, i dont understand what is happening, does this mean they are fixing it? www.justwigitfashions.com.au
