grungefreak1
Hi, I just went into my includes/config.php file and changed ssl to "true". Now when I click the URL to the shop, the install page comes up! I changed it back to false but the install page still comes up. Please help me as I have done a lot of work on this and now it looks like I'm back at hte start. I am totally baffled! GF
rabbitseffort
well, very important is to remove the install directory do that and see what happens "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer. --Ken Kesey"

rabbitseffort
when you edited the configure files the changes may have not taken which is most likely the case due to permissions that error is telling you that you need to edit your config files so make sure you set permissions to 777 on the 2 config files, then edit them to be what they should be, then change permissions back to 444 and you should be set "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. As this is when the problems started with the database connection. Anyway, can you let me know where I can change the permissions in the config files?
