Guest
I am just getting ready to start setting up OScommerce sites for some people. I am going to use Paypal express checkout for my payment module. For this module to work, you have to have a business account with PayPal. When getting new people setup, what is the best way of going about this. Would I ask them to go setup a business account and then give me their login info so I can get the SSL cert and setup up there payment page? Or is it best to just walk them through it, hoping they will get what I need? Any suggestions would be great. Scott
Jack_mcs
Paypal Express is part of the Paypal Pro package. Is that what you mean to use? It costs upwards of $20/month. There is Paypal standard, which only cost you the per item fees. To use the former, you have to install the Paypal WPP contribution and have such an account at Paypal. To use the latter, you should install the Paypal IPN contribution and will need a standard account at paypal. It doesn't have to be a business account but it should be. Once either are installed, your customers pay through your site. It is automatic and you don't take any of their information.
