Is there a final release coming? It's still a preview because it is still being developed. Yes a final release is coming...someday..:-)
xaraya Posted November 24, 2002 Posted November 24, 2002 I would recommend using the latest feature rich snapshot as you will no longer be able to use many add on contributions posted after 11/1/02... most live shops are using OSC 2.2 including me. No major bugs to report on this end :D
zzfritz Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 The current snapshot is quite close to bug free, and the changes now being made by the development team are mostly in the realms of cosmetic, optimization or doctrine ("tep standards"). Only one area is still be discussed as a candidate for major revision, and that is how the My Account pages look: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27470. I highly recommend osC 2.2 CVS unless you have other reasons to wait.
Guest Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 the latest version of 2.2 with the new check out process is very good - the only thing missing for me is a version of the intershipper shipping module that works with it (since we use Airborne Express as our shipper)
