robbxt9999
Hi Everybody I have been trying to find an answer to this problem for a few weeks now with still no luck on any new leads As anyone encountered a problem with osCommerce and Lunarpages servers. The problem I am having (Sorry for repeating myself from a previous post) When I have been testing my site locally on my home machine all is working fine, But as soon as I upload all my files to the server my images go missing and I get Die angegebene Datei konnte nicht auf dem Server gefunden werden! which I think translates to "The indicated file could not be found on the server!" What I don't understand about it is that if the file is in the correct place then this error occurs saying the file is not there and if I remove the file altogether then the error goes away and I am left with a blank place holder. very strange!!!!! I know I have the right images directory in the code as I get the main banner displaying across the top of my webpage Also, Is there anyway of tracing an error within the oscommerce php code (Just an idea, but I doubt that will be easy) Help me please, I am really stuck for ideas now Rob
Guest
hi Rob What happens when you type in the whole URL for where your image is sitting ie. "http://yourwebsite.com/images/yourimage.jpg" . Also maybe check the chmod settings for the image folder.
robbxt9999
I have checked that the permissions are all correct and I have typed in the URL and the image displays properly It seem to be when the image is trying to embed in to the web page
Nullachtfuffzehn
It basically makes no difference, if the path to the images is embedded in html or entered into the address bar. Should work the same way. Can you give us a link to your page, so we can look into it?

robbxt9999
This is the link to the page as it stands http://www.bookbob.co.uk/www/catalog/index.php The images are not in the /images directory and the site is fine apart from the obvious images missing and have blank place holders instead. If I put the image into the /images then this is when the above error occurs.

robbxt9999
I doubt the odd URL is causing the problem, or is it?
germ
All your image links point to: http://www.bookbob.co.uk/www/catalog/images/ But only your logo is there. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. robbxt9999
That is correct If I put any other images into this directory then my original German error will appear and nothing else. Does any body know why this is happening?
