I have the Bigimages 1.23 installed, worked fine. Today one full category's big images are "empty". The file names are still there in the images file, but they don't load (no broken image, just an empty pop-up), and when I look in my Cpanel to get info, it says the file is "Empty".

Any other categories' big images are still there, it's just in one category:

Any clue?

Thanks,

Violet

Did you just turn on the Search Engine Friendly URLs? If so, turn them off and see if they return.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the reply. I have had the SE-friendly URL's on for a few weeks now. I just tried your suggestion, but it made no difference.

Just a thought ... weird things seem to happen with that turned to on for various sites, so I always like to check that first.

Anyway ... and if you look in the Admin I take it you see both images alright on these products that are missing the large image?

And there is nothing weird about their names? Like funny characters and such?

Hi Linda,

Yes, they are both there, named as they should be. I was checking all of these products last night, and they came up fine for me. It's very weird!

I am going to re-upload them today, but can't help but wonder what caused it. They are in the same folder as all of the other images, and even if I type in the image URL in the address bar, there I do get a broken image, but it is the proper size. It's as if the image info is gone, but the name and size are still there.

Sorry, I should have clarified: the image names in Admin are there, the only image that loads in the preview by default is the small image though.

*bump*

To add, new uploads of large images are also slowly dissapearing. Again, file names are still on the server, but are "empty" (0 kb).

Lots of space and bandwidth still available on the server.
