Unable to connect to database server

Hi All,

 

Require your assistance to resolve following error.I`m not able to acces ADMIN page...

 

 

It seems to me minor problem...can you plz help.

 

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'databasename'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 12
[b]Unable to connect to database server![/b]

check the configure file for the right username and password and DB name

Thanks for the prompt response :)

 

actually i got the scripts installed from other company ... i did checked configure.php.

 

How Do i Know things mentioned in CONFIGURE.PHP are correct .any other way to find my Db name/username/pwd. ?

you must know that stuff...you have to have a database driving the site, enter that correct info in the admin configure file...the catalog side one will have the same info for DB connect
