Categories Box Looks Messy

I think the categories box looks rather messy, can it be modified some way to look neater?

I suggest turning off the category count option in admin. It clutters the look as well as slows down the site. You should also look at the infobox section in the contributions since there are quite a few category box replacements.

Andrea,

The admin area that Jack was referring to was you osCommerce Admin panel. In a stock osCommerce store, you would simply enter the following URL into your browser address bar:

 

http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/admin

 

That would take you to a login screen (if you protected the admin folder) and then to the admin area after successful login.

 

Once in the admin area, go to "Configuration - My Store - Show Category Count". Change the "true" selection to "false" and your category counts will no longer show.
