jamaicasearch Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 I have not done any work on the cart for weeks now and it was ok.....last week the below problem just showed up. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! ............................................................................. Warning: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10076 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid 0 in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/jamaicasearch.net/httpdocs/catalog/includes/header.php on line 30 Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp. Sessions will not work until this directory is created. Everton
PhilipGM Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 I just got the same problem - my ISP just upgraded to PHP4.2.1 from 4.0.4 and I think that that has started the problem - although I know that the machine was running in Safe mode before. If you got a solution please let me know. Thanks Philip
PhilipGM Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 Turning off caching and storing session info in the database seems to have sorted this out for me. Although, I'm getting confused about where this /tmp directory is supposed to be. Perhaps reading the documentation will help... Philip
