shipping only within one country

Hi Guys,

Just a little advise.

I can only ship my product within Australia.

How can I amend my website to do such a thing?

 

I would imagine I need to go into Admin/locations/zones... How can I disable the other countries so my site only ships within Australia?

or do I need to delete out every other country??

Would prefer not to do this incase some time down the track I am able to ship internationally.

It's been a little while since I set up our site but this is a bit fiddly to get exact. In regards to your postage options I think it's more to do with the 'tax zones'. I know that if I add a new tax zone I then can select that zone from my shipping modules options in admin.

 

I don't think you can prevent people from internationally ordering. if you delete the zones from where you have listed you will prevent people from being able to select those zones when creating an account...this is what you said you want to allow down the track. We have the same issue. We only ship in Australia and have had people from overseas place orders. As our postage options are only available to people in Australia, when someone overseas places an order they get no postage options at all. Of course the hassle with this is that they can still place an order and it charges them no postage...just an administrative hassle.

 

We're investigating this more at the moment. Make sure you have clear postage policies in place. Sorry I can't be of more help but at least you now that others are having similar problems.

I am also seeking this fix

I want customers to be able to create an account, or ship an order other than AUSTRALIA

I thought this would have been a standard that was included in the admin

 

so far i have taken the country selector out of the sign up page

but this does not fix the ordering pages, as far as i can see in the checkout there is just too many dam loopholes

 

I am pulling my hair out trying to get this done

any help would be much appreciated
