lknmedia
Is there a contribution out there to allow the following: Charge a specified VAT % UNLESS a valid VAT registration number is entered. An example of can be seen at symantecs global store here Symantec Euro Store If you add an item to your cart and checkout... you will see the box for entering your VAT Reg number. (I know the example is not OSC). Thanks.
divelife
Hi, I would be careful of this as you only omit VAT if you are shipping outside your own country into another EU country and that person is VAT registered. As there is no way of knowing or checkingt their VAT number then you may get fraudulent transactions. Our VAT inspector said if we had more than the occaisional case then we would have to prove we were checking things more thouroughly. Just my 2c Brett Is there a contribution out there to allow the following: Charge a specified VAT % UNLESS a valid VAT registration number is entered.
