rstn123 Posted November 22, 2002 Posted November 22, 2002 My host is saying that in order for my site to work with SSL that I have to define the complete path ie http://www.url.com/images/pic.jpg because as soon as I had SSL installed all the images are gone when its using SSL. I dont see how that can be done, can someone help me out here? The path now for the broken images are https instead of http. I dont understand why all the php files work being called as https instead of http and the images wont.
addaction Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 Hi, It really depends on how your host has setup the SSL. We make it so that you only have to change the SSL url in your configuration. Putting in direct paths to your images under http:// will make the lock disappear in your browser since you have secure and non-secure elements on your page. The page will still be encrypted.
rstn123 Posted November 23, 2002 Author Posted November 23, 2002 I had hotlink protection on and diddnt ass https as allowed.it was my fault.
