admin page cannot connect to database error

I for some reason an getting an error message with a fresh install of oscommerce. Everything is fine on the actual store, but when I go to the admin page I am getting the following error:

Unable to connect to database server!

 

Server:

Windows 2k3

IIS6.0

PHP5

MySQL

 

I dont seem to be having any other problems, just cannot seem to get connected to the admin site.

Compare the database information in your two configure files - includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php

 

Being as the store works, that configure file is correct.
