bks Posted November 22, 2002 Posted November 22, 2002 I had a catastrophic disk failure on an osc site last night. Yes I have backups of the mysql databases but I do not have backups of the tep-admin tep-catalog files from the original install. I know that moving from one version of tep 2.2 to a later version is not a simple upgrade task and I wanted to know if there is anyone that you can recommend that I can use to have my db upgraded from the version I was at to the latest version. As you know there is credit card data in the records and I would prefer not to simply send it blindly to someone to upgrade the db. My desire is to install tep as of today and have someone upgrade the sql database so that I can inject and then recreate the site around the sql dump. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for me. I have 6 other sites that I am trying to get on-line (none of them tep databases) and I would like to focus on the tasks that I am comfortable with and not potentially cause more damage than has already been done. :? Thank you, brad bks (at) reaction (dot) org
wizardsandwars Posted November 22, 2002 Posted November 22, 2002 I had to stop after the first paragraph, go back up everything and then come back to finish the rest of the post. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
