New instalation problem

Can someone please help me, we are getting this error.

 

1046 - No database selected

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

You need to input the database information at the bottom of the 2 configure files - includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php

 

You don't say if this is a global error or if it is just on the catalog side or just the admin side. If one of them work, you will have the correct info in that configure file.
