The e-commerce.

Brand new to all of this...

Recommended Posts

Not a complete newbie to PHP scripts and .css and all of that, I have built a few phpBBs in my time and a phpAuction, I am however new to osCommerce. Can someone help with some questions, please?

1. What is STS? Is it a script that allows easy installation of add-ons and mods like EasyMod is for phpBB?

2. My osC is the latest version and I noticed someone posted in the STS thread that it should be fully integrated into osC. Is it in this version?

3. Do most of these add-ons and mods work through web based installs or do I need shell access for a lot of them?

4. My store is called www.BadAssMetal.com, with that in mind and knowing I like black and red a lot, does anyone have a sugestion for a template or templates I should look at and can you point me to where I might find them?

Thanks for any help!

STS adds code to your shop so that it can use an html template to change the look. It is much easier than changing the files manually.

Contributions have to be installed following the instructions in each one. They do not usually install automatically.
