Hi Everyone,

I managed to get this to work, but I am trying to learn and be compliant on the correct way to do things in osC and wanted to see if I did this correctly, or is there a better (more correct way).

FYI, I searched the forums and the readme's and faqs, and the closest I found to my question was this link. But it does not seem to be what I am looking for.

I wanted to add a link in the admin section for a page located in catalog/admin/orders/orderslookup.php.

So I added this line to the tools.php file.

'<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ORDERS_LOOKUP) . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">' . BOX_TOOLS_ORDERS_LOOKUP . '</a><br>' .

Then I added this line to the filenames.php file.

define('FILENAME_ORDERS_LOOKUP', 'orders/orderlookup.php');

Then I added this to the catalog/admin/includes/languages/english.php file. (under the includes/boxes/tools.php section)

define('BOX_TOOLS_ORDERS_LOOKUP', 'Orders Lookup'); //Orders Lookup link

But I think I should have added the path (orders/) in another file instead of appending it to the filename in filenames.php.

Am I correct in thinking it should have been defined elsewhere, and it yes, where?

I appreciate the help,

Thanks,

Don
