Size of Left/Right Columns

Hi,

Is there a way for me to set a size on how much is the width for the left and right column? Or so in other words reduce the size of the center information? I know to set the size of the whole site, but not very sure how to set the column size.

BOX_WIDTH is the setting for the columns located in application_top.php
