Hello,

I've got a problem with the categories and subcategories, on www.electronicasputnik.com, what happens is when you click on one of them it seems that is going to load the categorie or subcategorie, but you are redirected to default index.php.

I know that our servers have been upgraded from php 4 and mysql 4 to php5 to mysql 5.

It doesn't apear any error message.

Is Any body can help me?

That's pretty weird, cause when you click on a product it also redirects you to the index.php. Somehow the GET params are not interpreted correctly.

Has anything changed except the upgrade of the servers? I'm running a couple of shops und 5/5 but never experienced such a behavior.

I've canged the title on the index.php, I'he checket later and was working perfetly. one day after starts doing that, as well we got some troubles with other oscommerce with tha error 1054, and I fix that. Then I supposed that would be a similar problem and I've changed the catalog/index.php and catalog/advance_search_result.php code

index.php (original code)

if you check server_info (using admin panel) what are the settings for following variables

PHP_SELF - /osCommerce/admin/server_info.php (this is what you should see)

register_long_arrays (should be ON)

If PHP_SELF is blank, and register_long_arrays is OFF - I think I know what the problem is :) please confirm after tech guys are done with their stuff (and it still doesn't work)

Cheers

Gaurav

Alex,

Our server was just upgraded yesterday, and of course, problems are now ensuing! What exactly did they say was wrong with the server? Anything I can tell our hosting company to expedite this matter?

Thanks!

Chris B.

Thank you very much to everybody, at the end was a problem with the server.

Alex.

Well, I've fixed the problem on our end, not the hosting company's fault. The upgrade of the PHP and MySQL is causing a problem I believe ,if I read correctly, with the "left join" database query. There are a few topics with fixes related to this depending upon the contributions you might have installed.

Hope this helps anyone else looking for an answer...
