Sportscardkings Posted September 15, 2007 Author Posted September 15, 2007 the warning at the top says this: Warning Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/sportsca/public_html/shop/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.
Flyer5 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 There are instructions included with the download - heres a snippet from them: You are nearly finished! Rename the catalog/install folder or delete it. Reset the permissions on /catalog/includes/configure.php to 644 (if you are still getting the warning message at the top set configure.php to 444 which is read only - this happens on some servers that have been updated for security reasons). Set the permissions on /catalog/images directory to 777. Reset the permissions on /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to 644. Create the dir /catalog/admin/backups and set the permissions to 777. Set the permissions on /catalog/admin/images/graphs directory to 777. You need to .htaccess your /catalog/admin directory so that it is password protected. You can use the password manager in your server admin area like cpanel Those and much more useful stiff is in the file. Have a look in there youll find your answers. F5

WootCartoons Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I see that your store says launching soon. Just wanted to mention to not forget to change your language files for the shipping page, conditions, etc. I noticed those still had stock text on them. :)
