Catalog images directory does not exist?

I just installed oscommerce 2.2rc 1 and i followed the instructions but when i try uploading product images using the admin panel under the category and products module, this is the error in higlighted pink:

 

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /data/14/1/160/96/1323259/user/1417707/htdocs/oscommerce-2.2rc1/catalog/install/templates/pages/../../..//images/

 

may someone please help me on this one

Check configure.php for following settings

document_root,

DIR_WS_IMAGE

 

See what values are set - from what I can observe, it is trying to upload image inside install folders template images - and thus is not the right location. (htdocs/oscommerce-2.2rc1/catalog/install/templates/pages/../../..//images/
