Copying Products from one catalog to another

We have a site setup and working great. A friend wants to take a copy and run his own. However we only want to give him the products, not the user, etc. Is it just a case of copying all the product tables on to his installation? Once running we will be running identical catalogs, product wise, can we just give each other exports of our product tables and images?

The easy populate contrib will allow you to export the products from your database and import them to his. Otherwise you'd need to export the product and category related tables manually and import them to his database.
