Trentide Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Hi, thanks for looking at my post! I have an online clothing boutique an would like to add a feature for the people searching through my site. I would either like to have a size dropdown menu in my "Categories" list on the left side of my page. Or maybe have something under the search box that enables people to search for all the items of a particular size (Small, Med, Large, XLarge). How do I do something like this? Are there contributions? Also, is there a better way to achieve this? Thank you so much for any and all help, Jason
helvissa Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I'm wondering this too. I'm going to be selling clothing items and each item will be available in 6 or more different sizes. At the moment, the only way I can see to do this is to enter each size separately, such as "Satin pencil skirt, UK 16". Is there any way to have just "Satin pencil skirt" and then when someone goes to that listing, they have a drop-down where they can choose the size they want? Everywhere I shop for clothing online has this, so it can't be that difficult! (I hope!)
helvissa Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Ok, sorry guys... found this http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/888 The Qtpro add-on.
Trentide Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 Hey Helvissa. I've got the QTPro contribution. It works great! It'll do what you want. What I want is slightly different. Let me see if I can explain better. When a customer, let's say, arrives on the homepage and starts looking around. I want them to be able to see what clothes I have on hand for them in a particular size. Right now, they can browse by manufacturer, and different categories such as Women's short sleeve shirts, Mens long sleeve shirts, etc. I would like them to be able to go to a dropdown menu and see what is available for their particular size. Is this possible and does anyone know how to do it? Thank you so much for any and all help on this one. Jason
