I am using osCommerce setup by fortunecity and in Admin Tools.. I cant seem to find a place to edit and add information to those pages.

All it says is Put here your Shipping & Returns information.

I opened the shipping.php but no place to edit.. unless I missed it. Anyway.. its http://www.hotpyro.com/store just opened about an hour ago... still added items to the catalog.

I've been pulling my hair out over this. I do the above, save it and it reverts to a blank page in my public shop. I just want to put some simple text on the pages. This is SO difficult to do. I know a bit of HTML & CSS but still I'm stumped.

make sure your text is within the apostrophes ' & ' also when adding words like don't you must add them like this don\t.

Just a commer or full stop in the wrong place can make your store disappear. Just check that you havent accidently deleted something you shouldnt have. Its usually something really simple like a missing ' or .

Thanks, but I don't see where I messed up. I'd hate to have to start all over again, done that once already. Could that be my problem? Now my index page is missing as well. Sigh..........

Is it just your page thats missing or is all the code in the file missing? Can you post your code from the file your editing.

This is what is on my shipping.php and it shows a blank page. The contact page shows and works fine. I have no clue & thanks for helping.

at a glance, that appears to be correct. did you add in the text in the other shipping.php file?

the other shipping.php file is located in the includes > languages > english folder in your files.

that file should look like this:

<?php

/*

$Id: shipping.php,v 1.4 2002/11/19 01:48:08 dgw_ Exp $

*/

define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Shipping & Returns');

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Shipping & Returns');

define('TEXT_INFORMATION', 'you enter your shipping information here in between these two appostrophes');

?>

You are in the wrong file as I stated previously & as wootcartoons has stated you need to edit your english file.

Catalog/includes/language/english/shipping.php

Catalog/includes/language/english/conditions.php

Catalog/includes/language/english/privacy.php

define('TEXT_INFORMATION', ' YOUR TEXT GOES HERE ');

:)
