installing tinyMCE

Recommended Posts

I'm going to install tinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor...

I made everything but there are n tinyMCE in Administration section of OsCommerce. How come?

Please help me finish installation!

Thanks in advance!

I have just installed TinyMCE and trying out how to use it...as per my understanding, there is not going to be any tinyMCE Icon or control in OSC admin, but when you to File Manager and start to edit a file (eg. languages/english/index.php), the test editor that comes up would be replaced with html editor from TinyMCE...seems to work this way for me..though I am still figuring out how to put more formatting controls to the editor....

One more note, when I open a file for editing in IE, I don't see any text in the editing area, but if I do the same with FireFox, I can see the text for editing....

hope this helps..

really? only if incorrectly installed!

You need proper install the contribution & you will get control icons.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
